The Ultimate Canvas Cabin Tent!

Mess Tent III Features

  • Classic Canvas - 320 gr/m². 100 % cotton that is sustainable, renewable and biodegradable. Naturally waterproof and breathable, made from the best long fibre cotton for the tightest weave.
  • Waterproof and Fire Resistance - Impregnated with waterproofing and fire retardant treatments, not sprayed with plastic based PU coatings that eliminates breathability and is less UV resistant.
  • 2 Doors, 2 vents, 6 large windows - 2 large doors at either end that can be rolled up and fastened. 2 mesh covered vents above each door and 6 large mesh covered windows - unmatched ventilation and insect protection.
  • Spring loaded Poles - all poles are made from durable nickel plated steel 25mm in diameter - solid enough for the harshest conditions.
  • Sod Flap - traditional sod flap 30cm wide sewn onto the bottom to seal the tent from wind.
  • Pegs - pegs for guy lines are curved like a shovel to securely hold into the ground.

Functional Mess Tent for Outdoor Dining

Cooking outdoors is more enjoyable with the Mess Tent III. Its spacious design (600 cm long and 450 cm wide) offers ample room for cooking and dining, sheltered from the elements. You can be fully sheltered from the rain (and the flies!) and enjoy a comfortable meal wherever you go.

Ultimate Wall Tent Ventilation

Even with the doors closed, the Mess Tent III still maintains amazing airflow with 6 large mesh covered windows and 2 mesh covered vents above the doors. This in addition to the breathable canvas maintains a cool and dry interior in all but the worst conditions.

A Wall Tent with no Floor?

This is where the sod flap comes in. This 30cm wide flap sewn into the bottom of the wall lies inside the tent on the ground. Traditionally, a small trench would be dug around the outside perimeter of the tent to act as a gutter. The dirt from the trench is then used to cover the sod flap to weigh it down. This fully seals the tent from wind and insects and prevents the ground under the tent getting wet.

The ground inside can then be covered with whatever you like or even left bare if you like the feel of grass between your toes! For a more permanent setup, setting up the Mess Tent III on a raised wooden platform gives you a solid floor to walk on, and improves ventilation even further.

Warranty:

Luxe Glamp provides a one year warranty against manufacturer defects in the canvas. This warranty cannot be extended to the poles or zips as these are often misused.

The warranty does not cover professional and long term use. If a professional user buys a tent and reports a manufacturing problem within the first month we will consider it under the warranty. However after 28 days use it becomes a permanent structure and it is therefore not being used for the purpose it was sold for (i.e. a tent for camping).

If a private individual buys and then erects one of our tents semi-permenantly we will cover manufacturing defects for the length of the warranty but this does not cover mould, mildew or UV deterioration as we have no control over the conditions the tent is left up in.

Your consumer legal rights may still apply after the warranty expires
